Douce d'Ivry

Douce d’Ivry is a French photographer based in Paris. She started her career in music and video production in Paris, London and Singapore before moving to Hong Kong where she became a full-time photographer. A blend of fashion and street photography, Douce’s work offers a dreamy and colourful facet of different cities. She always tries to create a bond with her environment or the person she photographs in order to create captivating stories.
Her work in production inspired her to realise staged fashion shoots. Douce will spend hours location scouting to find the perfect surrounding allowing her to express her sensitivity and creativity.
Douce collaborates regularly with international magazines and newspapers as a photoreporter or fashion photographer such as Vogue America, Madame Figaro Hong Kong, Jet Mag, City Mag. Her work has already been relayed by international media : Dailymail, HKFP, Creative Boom, Polka Magazine, L’oeil de la photographie... and has been described as a “a collection of poetic and surprising moments” – Fisheye oct. 2019.
This selection of pictures is part of her series “Asian Colors” exhibited in Paris at la Galerie Couteron in September 2021 and was finalist of the Prix Picto de la Mode 2021.
