Harold de PUYMORIN

Originally from Toulouse, France and now living and working in Hong Kong, Harold de Puymorin is a fine art film photographer whose works span architecture, portraits, and the abstract. Working in both colour and black and white, his most recent projects include 35mm Diaries and Subtle Patience; the former focussing on the organic and chaotic aspects of street life  while the latter seeks to capture the abstract yet arresting geometries of surrounding architecture.

About the serie Subtle Patience :
This project explores the geometric shapes and shadows that surround us, capturing the beautiful details within both the conventional and bizarre. It plays with angles and contrasts to achieve abstract and very aesthetic results, Inspired byt the works of Masters like Takashi Yasumura, Kishin Shinoyama, and Edward Weston. Such fascination can be very subjective, but also quite arresting to the viewer.
